NIGHT SHIFT PAY. a. Employees in classes which characteristically work shifts shall receive night shift differential pay if one-half or more of their work period is before eight a.m. or after five p.m. b. Employees in classes which do not characteristically work shifts shall receive night shift differential pay if one-half or more of their work time during a biweekly pay period is before eight a.m. or after five p.m. c. Night shift differential pay shall be seven and one-half percent (7-1/2%) of the employee's standard daily or biweekly salary rate.
