Assessor's Office Alternate Work Schedules a. The Nine-Day/Eighty-Hour (9/80) Schedule: Employees in the Office- Technical Unit may work a 9/80 work schedule as described in Section 6.11. Approval for employees to work the 9/80 work schedule shall be within the sole discretion of the Assessor.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.

  • Alternate Work Schedule An alternate work schedule is any work schedule where an employee is regularly scheduled to work five (5) days per week, but the employee’s regularly scheduled two (2) days off are NOT Saturday and Sunday.

  • Alternative Work Schedules ‌ An alternative schedule is defined as a work schedule that requires a change, modification or waiver of any provisions of this Agreement. Alternative work schedules may be established in writing by agreement between the Employer, and a majority of the affected employee(s) involved, and a Union representative if requested by any one (1) of the affected employees. In the event one (1) or more employees terminate employment, the remaining employees shall follow the regular work schedule prescribed in this Agreement unless another alternative work schedule is established by the procedure outlined in this Section.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.
