NO STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS. 4.1 In view of the orderly procedure for settling grievances and following the signing of this Agreement, the University agrees that it will not cause or direct, during the term of this Agreement, any lock-out of its employees and the Union agrees that during the term of this Agreement, there will be no strike or other collective action which will stop, curtail, or interfere with the University's operations. 4.2 In the event that any employees of Saint Mary’s University, other than those covered by this Agreement, engage in a lawful strike, Employees covered by this Agreement shall not be required to perform work normally done by such striking employees.
