No Strikes and or Lockouts. 4.01 Under no circumstances shall strikes, sympathy strikes, stoppages of work, walkouts, slow-downs or picketing be ordered, sanctioned, permitted or enforced by the Union during the life of the Collective Agreement, its officials, agents or shop representatives; nor shall lockouts be ordered, sanctioned, permitted or enforced by the Employer, its officials or agents.
4.02 In the event of a strike, stoppage, walkout, slow-down or picketing, during the life of the Collective Agreement, the Union, acting through its officers, shall promptly and publicly state that the strike, stoppage, walkouts, slow-down or picketing is not authorized by the Union and is disapproved of by it, and order the employees back to work. Any employee who engages in such activity shall be subject to such discipline as the Employer may see fit to impose, including termination of employment.
