Common use of NO VIOLENCE/ABUSE Clause in Contracts

NO VIOLENCE/ABUSE. The parties agree that all forms of workplace violence or abuse are prohibited and such parties shall work collectively to recognize and resolve any concerns should they arise. Violence, abuse and/or the threat of violence is defined as any direct/indirect action or behavior that could be interpreted in light of known facts, circumstances and information by a reasonable person as indicating potential to harm, endanger or inflict pain or injury upon a person or property. Forms of violence/abuse include but are not limited to Attack (the use of force to harm), Harassment (behavior designed to trouble or worry the victim) and Property Damage (intentional damage to property owned by Xxxx’x Get Fresh) any employee customer or visitor. Any employee who believes that they are being abused shall report such to their immediate supervisor and/or full-time Union Representative.
