Non-Certified. Substitute Teachers who are approved for a term contract shall be paid at the Certificate II rate.

Non-Certified. 1. Employees shall be formally evaluated each year. An employee shall not grieve his or her evaluative rating under Article IIIGrievance Procedure.
Non-Certified teaching personnel will be laid off first in order of ascending seniority unless there are no certified teachers who are qualified and available to perform the duties of the position the non-certified teacher is vacating.
Non-Certified. The hourly wage schedule for non-certified employees is attached as Appendix 1B –2B. Non-Certified Support Staff • Custodian 205 days • Technical Assistant (Middle Fork/RSSP, Records, EC/Audiology) 205 days • Technical Assistant (State/Federal Reporting) 205 days • Maintenance/Custodian 260 days • Cafeteria Assistant 174 days * Shall be given the option to remain at 180 days during the term of this contract. The VASE Director shall designate employee emergency days. Emergency days that are not used shall not be designated as employee workdays. When emergency days exceed those provided for in the school calendar, an employee may be required to work up to the number of days required in this section. Employees not on approved leave, who do not work the days listed on the School Calendar, shall be docked for such absence at their prorated daily rate of pay. Itinerants scheduled to work in locations which are closed due to emergency when VASE is in session, shall follow that district’s revised schedule, serve schools within their present assignment that are not closed due to an emergency, or work elsewhere as assigned by the Director, during the existence of the emergency.

Additionally, one step shall be added to all lanes of the wage schedule for the 2023-2024 school year, one step shall be added to all lanes of the wage schedule for the 2024-2025 school year, and one step shall be added to all lanes of the wage schedule for the 2025-2026 school year.
