Additional Work Days. Members who are required in writing by the President or Vice President of Academic Affairs to work more than 155 days in a contract year shall be paid at the rate of 1/155 of their regular salary for each additional day worked.
Additional Work Days. Professional development or curriculum development days are not an entitlement and will be offered at the discretion of the administration. Days or additional hours that are offered in any given year are not to be considered as recurring days in subsequent years. Reimbursement for each day or additional hour will be based on federal or state grant funding and will be at the Board approved hourly rate. Additional work days for the guidance counselor and school-to-work coordinator will be offered at the discretion of the administration. Reimbursement for each day will be the rate of the average daily wage for the professional secondary staff in the contract year.
Additional Work Days. Should any teacher be required to work in addition to 180 days, he/she shall be paid a sum equal to 1/180 for each such day. Staff members will be provided a log by their principal to provide verification of full days worked as defined in Section 15.7. Certified staff members who may be required to work an extended year are as follows: Band Director Up to 20 days Orchestra Director Up to 10 days Athletic Director Up to 10 days Instructional Technology Coach Up to 20 days
Additional Work Days. Salaries of Administrators who are required to work additional days shall be prorated for the actual time worked as approved by the Superintendent. The Administrator who works on a non-scheduled work day, that is not part of their regular administrative duties, with pre- approval by the Superintendent, will be paid per diem or have the option of a flex day if it does not impact students.
Additional Work Days. In the event that an administrator is required to work beyond their scheduled number of contract days, the administrator will receive compensation equal to the administrator’s normal daily rate. Prior approval for the Superintendent/designee to attend a District directed event would be required for any additional work days.
Additional Work Days. School Psychologists, Guidance Counselors, and Program Specialists shall work an extra ten days per year as a part of their contracted work schedule. Special Education Department Chairs and Activities/ASB Director shall work an extra 5 days per year as a part of their contracted work schedule. The additional work day calendar will be approved annually by each employee’s direct supervisor in consultation with the unit members. The member shall be paid their per diem rate for the additional days.
Additional Work Days. 17.2.1. New Certificated Staff – two (2) additional workdays at the beginning of the school year shall be for unit members in their first year of employment in a certificated position in the District.
Additional Work Days. Should additional work days be warranted beyond the 10 month calendar to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, the DOS shall be paid the per diem rate for those days. Additional work days shall not exceed 10 per year.
Additional Work Days. If teachers are required to work more than one hundred eighty (180) days in any single school term, such teachers shall be compensated at the rate of one-one hundred eightieth (1/180) of the compensation prescribed in Appendix A of this Agreement.
