Movement on the Salary Schedule. Provisions for movement on the full-time salary schedule are set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement; provisions for movement on the part-time salary schedule are set forth in Appendix B of this Agreement.
Movement on the Salary Schedule a) Horizontal movement shall take place as follows: 1) Any faculty previously approved by the Board for promotion for the duration of this contract. 2) The Promotions Committee shall review all faculty applications for promotion in academic rank. One faculty member shall be elected to the committee by each division each year. During this contract the Promotions Committee shall follow the procedures for the evaluation of applicants as outlined in the Report of the Contract Promotions Committee Procedures. 3) To be promoted to assistant professor, a faculty member must meet these conditions: The faculty member (a) has received tenure; (b) has completed seven(7) years of Xxxxxx service as an instructor; and (c) meets the requirements for the new rank as set forth in Section B, 2, a or b of this article. For faculty teaching in transfer programs, at least three (3) graduate hours beyond the master's degree must be in the form of accredited graduate course credit or Xxxxxx GEC. 4) To be promoted to associate professor, a faculty member must meet these conditions: The faculty member (a) has received tenure; (b) has completed seven (7) years of Xxxxxx service as an assistant professor; and (c) meets the requirements for the new rank as set forth in Section B, 3, a or b. For faculty teaching in transfer programs, at least three (3) graduate hours beyond the master's degree must be in the form of accredited graduate course credit or Xxxxxx GEC. 5) To be promoted to professor, a faculty member must meet these conditions: The faculty member (a) has received tenure; (b) has completed five (5) years of Xxxxxx service as an associate professor; (c) meets the requirements for the new rank as set forth in Section B, 4, a or b of this article; (d) has demonstrated exceptional qualifications and instructional leadership; and has been recommended by the Institutional Promotions Committee and approved by the Board of Trustees. For faculty teaching in transfer programs, at least six (6) graduate hours beyond the master's degree must be in the form of accredited graduate course credit or Xxxxxx GEC. 6) A faculty member who meets the requirements as stated in Article VII, Section B.2 (Assistant Professor) or Article VII, Section B.3 (Associate Professor) and has completed at least four (4) years of service in their current academic rank, may apply for early promotion. Movement on the Salary Schedule a. Bargaining unit members shall receive movement at the beginning of the school year in accordance with O.R.C. Section 3317.14. A member must have served for one hundred twenty (120) paid days in order to advance.
Movement on the Salary Schedule. 1. Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree and 150 semester hours to be placed at the 5-year level. 2. The thirty (30) graduate semester hours must be taken after the receipt of the Masters Degree. 3. Movement on the Salary Schedule. No employee shall be placed at a level below that held during the 2000-01 school year. Employees will be advanced on the skill/education level based upon college transcript semester hours for credit consistent with their area of employment. Employees eligible to change salary class must send a letter, by certified mail, along with supporting documentation as required by Article XIII of the contract, e.g. Transcript to be received by Superintendent on or before September 15. Employees shall receive written confirmation immediately following Board action and shall be issued a new contract salary notice as appropriate. Employees who submit by certified mail a transcript to the Superintendent’s office by September 15, shall have the pay retro-active to the beginning of the school year and will be paid within two (2) pay periods following Board action. Thereafter, employees will be placed on the appropriate level and paid at the higher rate at the 2nd pay after submission of a college transcript, but no sooner than the next pay after the Board action.

Movement on the Salary Schedule. When a teacher aide possesses a substitute teaching certificate and therefore gains the title of teacher assistant, the individual will be placed on the first step of the teacher assistant guide which will provide her/him with a salary increase.
Movement on the Salary Schedule. A. Teachers must meet all pertinent Board of Education requirements to qualify to advance horizontally on the salary schedule. B. Teachers frozen at the bottom of a column on the salary schedule will be permitted to advance one step vertically when they meet the requirements to move horizontally to the next classification. C. Teachers anticipating a horizontal change in placement on the salary schedule for the next year must notify the Superintendent before April 1 of the current school year. Under unforeseen circumstances, the Superintendent may approve advancement on salary schedule after the April 1st date. D. College credit is to be included in the Professional Development Plan.
Movement on the Salary Schedule. A teacher shall only be allowed to move horizontally on the salary schedule one time (i.e. one lane) per school year. Proof that pre-approved coursework has been competed in a manner that entitles a teacher to move horizontally on the schedule must be submitted to the Business Office by no later than September 30th to receive the higher salary for the entire school year. Proof submitted after September 30th, but by no later than January 31st, shall entitle a teacher to the higher salary for half of the school year. Movement on the Salary Schedule. The Superintendent will meet with the Human Resources Director and determine the placement of employees within the ranges and annual movement through the ranges. Movement through the ranges will be determined by the District and function similarly to step movement in other groups. An employee with satisfactory performance will typically receive one step movement each July 1. Employees with a performance rating below meets standards or on a corrective action plan will not be eligible for additional movement. Employees will generally need to be hired by February 1 to considered for step advancement the following July 1. In the event that a current employee’s salary is outside the established ranges, the action will be taken over time to move the salary to be within the range.
