Notification of Teaching Assignments. A teacher will be notified of his or her tentative assignment as soon as the principal is reasonably confident of it, but in no event later than August 1, if known.

A teacher who is assigned to teach a new course or a new grade level shall be afforded the opportunity to make a supplemental requisition for supplies and materials appropriate and necessary for the new assignment.
