Non-Discretionary Leave of Absence. 1. A Non-Discretionary Leave of Absence is leave which an eligible employee may use for various reasons under applicable law. Eligibility for a Non-Discretionary Leave of Absence will be determined according to the requirements of applicable law. The County follows all applicable state and federal laws pertaining to Non-Discretionary Leaves of Absence. Non-Discretionary Leave includes, but is not limited to, FMLA, CFRA, and PDL.
