Non-Public Schools. If the board is notified by the non-public school of its intent to reduce the number of teachers or to reduce the number of hours assigned, teacher(s) so affected will be assigned to the first vacant position in the city schools for which he/she is certified and on the same salary schedule as other members of the bargaining unit in the same position to the extent necessary to restore the prior contract status. If no such position is immediately available, and the teacher has a continuing contract and is Accomplished, the teacher shall be placed on a recall list. If any member of the bargaining unit assigned to a city school is involuntarily transferred to a non-public school, the individual, in the event of a reduction in force, retains the same RIF rights, if any, he/she would have had if there had been no transfer.
Non-Public Schools. OPSB shall continue to provide all federally required services and funding for non-public schools, including assessments, special education services, and federal entitlement programs for the 2014-2015 school year.
Non-Public Schools. A. Postage will be provided to all Non-Public Schools Program Employees for the anticipated mailings that are required. In instances where an Employee is required to make a mailing for which postage has not been provided in advance, reimbursement will be made by submitting a request to the appropriate Supervisor.
