Non-Tenured Unit Member Procedures for Evaluation. Non-tenured unit members shall be formally observed at least two (2) times per year, with the final observation being prior to June 1st of each school year. A formal classroom observation may cover a complete lesson or class period. Unit members other than teachers and TA’s will be observed in accordance with the activities/duties associated with their position (ex. OT, PT, counselor, social worker, speech therapist, etc.) The additional evaluation tool will be negotiated by the agreed upon committee.
