Noncompetition During Term. Except for any businesses already operating and identified on the Summary Pages, during the term of this Agreement, Franchisee and any guarantor(s) hereof covenant, individually, not to engage in or open any business, other than as a Franchisee of the Big O System, which offers or sells tires, wheels, shock absorbers, automotive services, or other products or services which compete with Big O Products and Services. The purpose of this covenant is to encourage Franchisee and any guarantor(s) hereof to use their best efforts to promote the Big O System, its Products and Services, to protect its Information and trade secrets, and to generate a successful business at the Store. 17.02

Noncompetition During Term. FRANCHISEE acknowledges that, in addition to the license of the Marks hereunder, GREASE MONKEY has also licensed commercially valuable information which comprises and is a part of the Licensed Methods, including without limitation, operations, marketing, advertising and related information and materials and that the value of this information derives not only from the time, effort and money which went into its compilation, but from the usage of the same by all franchisees of GREASE MONKEY using the Marks and Licensed Methods. FRANCHISEE therefore agrees that other than the GREASE MONKEY Center licensed herein, and any other GREASE MONKEY Centers licensed under other franchise agreements with GREASE MONKEY, neither FRANCHISEE nor any of FRANCHISEE's officers, directors and owners of five percent or more of the equity securities of a corporate franchisee, nor any member of his or their immediate families, shall during the term of this Agreement:

  • Non-Competition During Employment Executive agrees during the Basic Term, and any extension of the Basic Term under this Agreement, he will not compete with the Company by engaging in the conception, design, development, production, marketing, or servicing of any product or service that is substantially similar to the products or services which the Company provides, and that he will not work for, in any capacity, assist, or became affiliated with as an owner, partner, etc., either directly or indirectly, any individual or business which offer or performs services, or offers or provides products substantially similar to the services and products provided by Company.

  • Noncompetition Period For the purpose of Section 9 of this Section, “Noncompetition Period” shall mean the period of employment hereunder and the period commencing on the date of termination of employment and ending 12 months thereafter. In addition, during the Restricted Period, the Director shall not develop any property for use in the Company’s Business on behalf of any person or entity other than the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
