Normal Teaching Load. (1) The Faculty Xxxx shall determine the normal teaching load for the Faculty as a whole and for Members in each Department within the Faculty, following consultations with the Chairs. The normal teaching load shall be determined with due regard to both academic priorities (including but not limited to curricular and enrolment targets), and budgetary and other resource considerations. The teaching load assigned to Faculty Members in each Department shall be appropriate and reasonable for the discipline(s) concerned, with due regard for past practice and the provisions of Clauses 19.01-19.03. The Faculty Deans shall jointly consult with the Vice-President (Academic) and ensure that the provisions of Clauses 19.01-19.03 are consistent across all Faculties.
