00 - RECOGNITION. 3.01 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all Employees in the Bargaining Unit described in Appendix "A". Except for arrangements which may have existed prior to March 10, 1982, or as may be authorized by the Union, no Employee shall be required or permitted to make a written or verbal agreement with the Employer which may conflict with the terms of this Agreement.
3.02 If new positions are established by the Employer which the Union claims to come within the jurisdiction of the Bargaining Unit as described in Appendix "A", the Parties hereto shall meet and attempt to reach agreement on such new positions. If no agreement is reached, the matter may be referred by either party to the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) for final resolution and such employee shall remain outside the Bargaining Unit until a decision is rendered by the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia).
3.03 The Employer shall notify the Union of the proposed exclusion of any existing position from the Bargaining Unit and the basis for such exclusion. If the Union objects to the exclusion, the Parties shall endeavour to reach agreement, and if no agreement is reached, the matter may be referred by either party to the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) for final resolution.

The Parties, without limiting their rights as provided for in this collective agreement, recognize the FNEEQ (CSN), the Fédération des cégeps and the Minister for the purposes of dealing with any question relative to the application and interpretation of the provisions of this collective agreement as well as of any question of common interest.

Pursuant to Sections 3500-3510 of the Government Code of the State of California, the City recognized Service Employees International Union, Local 521 as the exclusive bargaining representative of the Scotts Valley Municipal Employees Unit consisting of all regular full time EMPLOYEES and regular part-time (1040 hours per year or more) EMPLOYEES listed in the representational unit, except those limited by State or Municipal Codes.

00 - RECOGNITION. 2.01 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for the purpose of establishing wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment for all employees of the Champaign County Office of the Sheriff, Unit A, Corrections Sergeant Division, in the classifications included in the unit by the Illinois State Labor Relations Board's Certification of Representative dated October 7, 1998, in Case No. S-RC-99-08. The job classifications included in the Certification are from one division within the Office of the Sheriff, namely: Corrections Sergeants.
00 - RECOGNITION. 2.01 The Company recognizes Aeronautical Lodge 717 Turbo, I.A.M. (hereinafter called the "UNION"), as the exclusive bargaining agent for the hourly-paid employees of the Orenda Division.
(a) Employees covered by this Agreement shall be all hourly-paid employees of the Orenda Division, which is located in the Regional Municipality of Peel, except those employees covered by Agreements existing between the Company and other certified bargaining agents.
(b) Should the Company during the life of this Agreement decide to move from the existing Mississauga operation, to a location in Ontario within a 200 kilometer radius of the existing location, the Company agrees to negotiate with the Union at least ninety (90) days prior to such move for the purpose of determining the conditions of a Transfer of Operations Agreement to provide:
(i) The right of existing employees to transfer with the jobs they normally perform;
(ii) Protection of the seniority rights of existing employees, upon such transfer;
(iii) Extension of the Collective Agreement to cover the new location.
(c) The Plant Committee Chair and the President shall be allowed to meet with all new employees upon the completion of their probationary period during business hours for the purpose of orientation to the I.A.M. The meeting will be scheduled at a time agreed to by the Chair and the employee's supervisor.
2.03 A person who is occupied solely in receiving training and who is not required to perform work or services of use or value to the Company and who is not otherwise classified pursuant to Article 27.00 hereof, shall not be an employee within the meaning of this Agreement and shall not be covered by this Agreement.
00 - RECOGNITION. 2.01 The Company recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining agent for all employees of Swissport Canada Inc. employees at Ottawa International Airport, excluding the station manager, administration staff and supervisors. (CIRB File 31388-C).
2.02 The Company agrees to give due consideration to I.A.M. & A.W. members of other bargaining units who make application for employment.
