Notice and Scheduling. City will make a good faith attempt to give at least 3 days notice of an addition/change/cancellation of a scheduled special event, by meeting announcements, distribution of rental agreements, or by email. The Union understands that unavoidable circumstances may occur which may preclude this from happening. When a special evening event is announced, hours will be offered to regular attendants on a voluntary basis. Substitute attendants or management staff will fill in for hours not voluntarily taken by regular attendants.

Notice and Scheduling. During the Consulting Period, Company will provide Executive reasonable notice of any consulting service obligations and Executive will have the right to reschedule commitments to Company to accommodate his personal schedule, provided that Executive gives Company reasonable notice of such intention to reschedule.

Notice and Scheduling. Employees must notify a supervisor in writing of the need for parental leave at least 20 calendar days in advance. The written notice should describe the reason for the requested leave, the start date of the leave and the anticipated duration of the leave. If 20 days’ notice is not practicable, notice must be given as soon as practicable. Failure to provide appropriate written notice and/or complete and return any necessary paperwork may result in the delay or denial of leave. Employees requesting disability leave benefits under AFJ’s/AFJAC’s short-term disability plan must also provide a health care provider’s written certification stating the expected beginning date and length of such leave, and that the leave is required as the result of a disability arising from pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition. Failure to provide satisfactory certification from a health care provider may result in the delay or denial of disability leave. All approved parental leave must be taken within 12 months following the birth or adoption event. Except as otherwise provided under the short-term disability plan, employees must take parental leave in increments of at least two weeks.
