Common use of Notice of Layoffs Clause in Contracts

Notice of Layoffs. The Employer will provide written notice of impending layoffs to the affected Employee(s) no less than fifteen (15) working days prior to the effective date, or will issue equivalent salary for the period in lieu thereof.

Notice of Layoffs. The Employer will provide written notice notice, in the event of impending temporary layoffs greater than thirty (30) calendar days, to the affected Employee(s) ), no less than fifteen fourteen (1514) working days prior to the effective datecalendar days, or will issue equivalent salary wages for the period in lieu thereof.
