Notice to Commence Work and Work Orders. Following issuance of the written notice to commence Work and at periodic intervals thereafter as the need arises, the Contractor will be issued locations to mill as directed by the Engineer. Each location will be transmitted to the Contractor in the form of a work order. Work orders may be grouped together and transmitted to the Contractor on the same date; however, the sequence of work shall be done in the order specified by the Engineer. The time frame for completion of Work under each work order will be based upon the estimated quantities of Work required for the designated location and will be calculated as follows: (i) a mobilization period of two (2) working days applicable to each group of work orders transmitted to the Contractor on the same date (not per each work order), and

  • Commencement of Work Engineer shall not commence any field work under this Contract until he/she/it has obtained all required insurance and such insurance has been approved by County. As further set out below, Engineer shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Contract until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.   • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.

  • STOP WORK NOTICE The City may issue an immediate Stop Work Notice in the event the Contractor is observed performing in a manner that is in violation of Federal, State, or local guidelines, or in a manner that is determined by the City to be unsafe to either life or property. Upon notification, the Contractor will cease all work until notified by the City that the violation or unsafe condition has been corrected. The Contractor shall be liable for all costs incurred by the City as a result of the issuance of such Stop Work Notice.
