Notification of Leave. A Child Nutrition Employee must notify the immediate supervisor and the Office of Human Resources of the need for an anticipated duration of the leave at least 30 days before leave is to begin, if foreseeable, by submitting a Notice for Pregnancy, Notice of Childcare, or Notice of Adoption leave form. If 30 days’ notice is not practical, Child Nutrition Employees must give as much notice as possible. Return to Duty Child Nutrition Employees must: Notify the Superintendent in writing 30 days prior to return. An employee who has been approved for a leave of absence may return to his/her same position upon returning from the leave or to another position for which the employee is qualified. Failure of Child Nutrition Employees to notify the Superintendent of the desire to return to duty removes obligation of the District to re-employ. In the case of a miscarriage, stillbirth or death of the child, Child Nutrition Employees may make application for an immediate return to full-time duty. This shall be contingent upon the written approval of the attending physician. * * * * * *
