NS Days Combined with ROS Days. In any one school year an employee can accumulate a maximum of - four (4) ROS days, or - three (3) NS days, or - a combination of both to a maximum of three (3) days. Additional NS hours can be earned but must be paid out in the school year in which they were earned. Three (3) unused days may be carried forward to the next year, with the accumulation limited to five (5) days in that year. A maximum of five (5) days may be used in any one school year. - The school administrator shall approve NS Days considering casual employee availability. - Only the Superintendent of Human Resources or designate may approve the use of NS days in conjunction with other leaves.
