Nutrition and HIV Capacity Sample Clauses

Nutrition and HIV Capacity. As recognition of the critical role food and nutrition play in HIV care and treatment has grown, a clear need has emerged to strengthen Ministry of Health (MOH) and IP capacities in nutrition assessment, counseling and the provision of specialized food products. To strengthen these competencies, FANTA-2 adapts existing resources to develop and roll out national nutrition and HIV training materials and materials to support nutrition assessment and counseling, and to adapt materials to country contexts. FANTA-2 also works closely with PEPFAR Partners and government facilities to provide on-site TA in the integration of nutrition assessment and counseling into appropriate client flow systems, information systems and protocols at HIV treatment and care facilities and in community programs.
