Common use of Off-Site Training Clause in Contracts

Off-Site Training. The Company may initiate the training of employees off the work site and direct employees to attend. The Company will provide room, board and travel. If the employee is on scheduled days off this training will be considered as time worked and paid at overtime rates. Employees will be excused from attending training if they have legitimate personal reasons which will not be unreasonably withheld.
