ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. 1. On Board Instructor (OBI) vacancies shall be posted and bid and pursuant to Art. XII, Section (A), and shall be filled by the Transportation Supervisor or Superintendent, and trained by the Allen County pre-service instructor according to Ohio Administrative Code or by other State approved instruction opportunities. OBIs are employed to provide training to individuals seeking to obtain a CDL for the purpose of driving a school bus for Bath Local Schools and to provide training for current bus drivers as required. OBIs will be paid at their current regular hourly driving rate of pay for all training of drivers.

ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. 31.01 On Board Instructors are allotted the following hours for certification and re- certification:
ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS a. The OBI position(s) shall be posted, bid and awarded in accordance with the job bidding procedures set forth in the contract. Driver(s) selected to be OBI instructors shall be sent for OBI training and certification at Board expense.
ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. Bus Drivers serving as On Board Instructors (“OBIs”) shall be given a one time additional Step on the Bus Driver salary/wage schedule, which will be a permanent advance provided the employee maintains his/her OBI certificate.
ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. On Board Instructors will be compensated at their daily rate.
ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. On board instructor(s) shall be selected by the Transportation Supervisor and certified by the State Department of Education. The Transportation Supervisor will assign new drivers and drivers for recertification to an on board instructor. Each on board instructor will receive $0.75 per hour in premium pay for hours engaged in instructing drivers, as directed by the Transportation Supervisor. The Transportation Supervisor has discretion to assign the on board instructor(s) to train other on board instructor(s). If a van driver needs certified, the Transportation Supervisor may offer the certification to available qualified drivers on a seniority rotation basis. In the event a van certification needs to be conducted rapidly, the certification may be completed by the Transportation Supervisor or any other qualified staff member.
ON BOARD INSTRUCTORS. 34.01 On Board Instructors shall be paid straight time. This shall include all driving time and time spent training other drivers.1

  • TEXAS MOTOR VEHICLE BOARD LICENSING All that deal in motor vehicles shall maintain current licenses that are required by the Texas Motor Vehicle Commission Code. If at any time during this Agreement term, any required Contractor license is denied, revoked, or not renewed, Contractor shall be in default of this Agreement, unless the Texas Motor Vehicle Board issues a stay or waiver. Contractor shall promptly provide copies of all current applicable Texas Motor Vehicle Board documentation to H-GAC upon request.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
