On Call 10.1.1 In the interests of healthy rostering practices, the parties agree that the allocation of on-call time should be spread as evenly as practicable amongst those required to participate in an on-call roster.
On-Call Pay 1. When a regular, limited-term or probationary employee is assigned on- call duty by the County, the employee shall, whenever practicable, be informed in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the dates and inclusive hours of such assignment; the employee shall be compensated at one-fourth (1/4) of his or her basic hourly rate for the entire period of such assignment.
On-Call Duty (a) Employees shall be paid one (1) hour of pay at the regular straight time rate for each six (6) hours of assigned on-call duty. Employees who are assigned on-call duty for less than six (6) hours shall be paid on a prorated basis.
On Call Allowance (a) An employee who agrees to be on call, that is, the employee agrees to make themselves ready and available to return to work at short notice whilst off duty, shall be paid the allowance, for each period of 24 hours or part thereof, set out in Item 17 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.
Maximum Contract Amount 4.4.1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the City’s maximum payment obligation will not exceed ($_) (the “Maximum Contract Amount”). The City is not obligated to execute an agreement or any amendments for any further services, including any services performed by the Contractor beyond that specifically described in Exhibit A. Any services performed beyond those in Exhibit A or performed outside the Term are performed at the Contractor’s risk and without authorization under this Agreement.
Mileage Rate The mileage rate for authorized travel – based on State of Florida rates on the Effective Date of this Agreement – is $0.445 per mile.
Minimum Call-Back Time An employee who is called in and required to work outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates unless the call-in is immediately prior to their normal work day, in which case there should be no minimum.
Wage Rate Payments / Changes During Contract Term The wages to be paid under any resulting Contract shall not be less than the prevailing rate of wages and supplements as set forth by law. It is required that the Contractor keep informed of all changes in the Prevailing Wage Rates during the Contract term that apply to the classes of individuals supplied by the Contractor on any projects resulting from this Contract, subject to the provisions of the Labor Law. Contractor is solely liable for and must pay such required prevailing wage adjustments during the Contract term as required by law.
Salary Rate on Demotion When an employee is demoted the employee shall receive the rate for the position if a single salary. If a salary range is established, the maximum reduction shall be the closest step to 8%, but where the differential between the employee's salary before demotion and the maximum salary of the lower position is greater than 8%, the new salary shall be the maximum of the new position.
Total Contract Amount The contract total for services shall not exceed $1,200,000. Pricing shall be per Exhibit F attached.
