Normal Hours. This article defines what normal working hours will be and is a guarantee that employees will be paid for all of the time that they are required by management to remain on the job.
A. The normal two-week pay period shall consist of eighty (80) hours.
B. Officers shall work eight (8) regularly scheduled hours per day pursuant to a five (5) day average work week or ten (10) regularly scheduled hours per day pursuant to a four (4) day average work week.
C. School days will be defined as per B above. 18.4:
Normal Hours. The following provisions are intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours worked per day or per week, or of days per week.
a. The normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7.5) hours exclusive of a one-half (0.5) hour unpaid meal period.

Normal Hours. Normal daily hours of work for permanent full-time employees within the bargaining unit will be as outlined in the attached Schedules, and Article 36, 12 Hour Shifts. Where employees are currently working less than the normal daily hours for the classification in which they are employed, the shorter shift may be maintained.
Normal Hours. Normal hours are defined as 7:00 am – 5:00 pm local time.
Normal Hours. It is specifically understood that the term "employee's normal work hours" refers to the schedule the employee is working when overtime occurs.
Normal Hours. (a) The normal hours of work for full-time nurses covered by this Agreement shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day.
(b) Any full-time nurse required to work on Saturday as part of her/his regular scheduled hours shall receive four (4) consecutive hours off during that week. The requirement to work Saturday will be distributed as equally as possible.
(c) When a nurse is required to work Saturday or Sunday she/he shall be paid the greater of four (4) hours at her/his regular rate or for the hours actually worked.
(d) Notwithstanding the limits on normal hours set out above, the following exceptions shall apply:
i) if the demands of space, workload, doctors' scheduling or other demands of operation require an extension of normal hours, the Employer reserves the right to change normal hours after consultation with the Union.
(e) At least one-half (1/2) hour unpaid time will be allowed for lunch and one-half (1/2) hour unpaid time will be allowed for dinner when possible when a nurse is required to work the evening shift.
(f) A fifteen (15) minute rest period shall be allowed mornings and afternoons. The time allowance from the workstation shall not exceed fifteen (15) minutes.
Normal Hours. The normal hours of work each day shall be consecutive, except for interruptions for lunch periods. Reference to "consecutive hours of work" in the balance of this Article shall be construed generally to include lunch periods. Each work shift shall have a regular starting and quitting time. Any changes in starting or quitting times shall be for operational reasons and shall not be arbitrary or capricious. Proposed changes to starting or quitting times shall first be discussed with the Union thirty (30) days before implementation and shallconform with the notification of schedule change language contained in Section 4 below.

Normal Hours. 5.1 The Executive will work such hours as may from time to time reasonably be required of him as are consistent with his appointment (which may involve working on public holidays). The Company acknowledges that the Executive has not opted out of the Working Time Regulations at the point of commencement of this Agreement. The Executive agrees that he will keep appropriate records of the hours that he works to enable the Company to comply with its obligations under the Working Time Regulations.
Normal Hours. This article is intended to define normal hours of work, and shall not be construed as a guarantee or limitation of hours of work nor as a restriction on the Company in adjusting the working schedule to meet operating requirements.
A. The Payroll week shall consist of seven (7) con- secutive twenty-four (24) hour periods beginning at 11 p.m. Sunday and ending at 11 p.m. the following Sunday.
B. The normal workday shall consist of eight (8) hours of work.
C. The normal workweek shall consist of forty (40) hours within a payroll week.
D. The normal hours for eight hour fixed shift workers are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
E. Employees off work due to personal injury, illness or death in the immediate family will notify the employer’s Shift Supervisor by at least three (3) hours before starting time, when possible.
