Once Grievance Initiated. The Employer agrees that after a grievance has been initiated by the Union, the Employer's representatives will not enter into discussion or negotiation with respect to the grievance, either directly or indirectly, with the aggrieved Employee without the consent of the Union. Once a grievance has been initiated, an Employee shall not attempt to resolve the grievance through any other channel, except by mutual agreement of the Employer and the Union.

  • Grievance Initiation 33. a. A grievance affecting more than one employee shall be filed with the departmental official having authority over all employees affected by the grievance.

  • Grievance Processing Union stewards or Union officials shall be permitted to have time off without loss of pay for the investigation and processing of grievances and arbitrations.
