OPERATIONS MODEL FOR ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT. The parties acknowledge that to achieve their individual missions and common goals they must work well together. But they also acknowledge that not every activity of each party necessarily involves the other. Many of the current administrative and policy structures force this involvement even when it produces few real benefits for either agency or the public they serve, thus entailing inefficient expenditure of public funds. To address these issues, the agencies agree that future interactions should be designed around an operations model based on the following approaches and outcomes: • Organize roles and responsibilities into three broad categories: - Water Utility functions and needs; - Joint functions and needs; and - Forest Service functions and needs. • Align organizational authority, responsibility, and accountability, including responsibility for financing activities, to the agency whose function and needs the activity is serving; • Align and document commitments for environmental stewardship of the Bull Run Watershed Management Unit. Such commitments would be designed, to the extent practicable, to maximize the effectiveness of the efforts of both agencies and the community to achieve the stewardship mission for the management unit; and Joint Interest and Collaborative Action Water Bureau Interest and Action Water Bureau Action with Consultation Joint Action Forest Service Action with Consultation Forest Service Interest and Action • Improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness for both agencies by structuring administrative mechanisms to minimize transaction costs for activities that are clearly in the purview of one or the other agency. The basic operations model that emerges from applying these approaches and achieving these outcomes is illustrated below in Figure 1: Figure 1 Joint Interest and Collaborative Action Between the City and Forest Service At the extreme ends of the spectrum are the issues and functions that clearly belong to the named agency. For issues in this category, the named agency is the acknowledged decision- maker and has both responsibility and authority for the issue. Activities that are included under the “Joint Interests and Collaborative Action” umbrella of Figure 1 are those where the missions or interests of the two agencies overlap to some degree.   • GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT The City Manager of the City, or designee, shall be the City’s representative, and shall oversee and approve all services to be performed, coordinate all communications, and review and approve all invoices, under this Agreement.

  • Implementation and Management 1.1 Properly constituted Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Committees or, where there is no OH&S Committee, Site Safety Supervisors/Safety Officers in conjunction with worker representatives, are the appropriate bodies to implement and administer alcohol and drug policy/programs (* see below).

  • Construction Administration Services The Engineer shall perform construction administration services during construction as necessary. Such services shall, as part of the services to be rendered for the Engineer's established fee, include as much of the Engineer's professional services and the services of the Engineer's consultants as the State deems necessary for the well-being of the project and efficient prosecution of the construction work, but shall not include the Engineer's undertaking continuous on-site observation of the work. If the Engineer fails to perform such duties in a conscientious and reasonable manner, the State may exercise its right to terminate this contract as hereinafter provided in Section T. Additionally, it is understood and agreed to by the Engineer and the State that the duties of the Engineer shall include, but not be limited to, the following services:

If we deny your request for preauthorization, or you disagree with our determination for the appropriate site of care, you can submit a medical appeal.   • Network Maintenance and Management 36.1 The Parties will work cooperatively to implement this Agreement. The Parties will exchange appropriate information (for example, maintenance contact numbers, network information, information required to comply with law enforcement and other security agencies of the Government, escalation processes, etc.) to achieve this desired result.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011.
