This provision does not apply to employees who were previously scheduled to start work prior to their regular starting time or who may be retained after their regular quitting time, nor shall it apply to employees who are called in for periods of less than two (2) hours prior to the start of their shift, but who continue to work their regular shift thereafter. When an employee is called in and then continues to work his or her regularly scheduled shift, the Employer agrees not to shorten the employee's regularly scheduled shift in order to avoid overtime payments.
