Common use of Orientation for New Hires Clause in Contracts

Orientation for New Hires. Before assigning a newly hired nurse in charge of a nursing unit, the Employer will first provide orientation both to the Employer and to such nursing unit. It is understood that such nurse may be assigned to any tour as part of the nurse’s orientation program, providing such assignment is in accordance with any scheduling regulations or objectives contained in this Collective Agreement.
