OTHER LEAVES OF ABSENCE An unpaid leave of up to one. (1) year may be granted for the purpose of professional development, holding of elected office, or personal business. If the leave will extend to the end of the school year, advance notice of intent to return for the next school year must be provided to the District by March 15.
