Outside Canada and The United States. No employees, officers and directors are permitted to use the Corporation's funds, facilities, or other assets, to support either directly or indirectly any political candidates or political parties, without advance authorization in writing from their immediate supervisor and the Chief Legal Officer. The policy of the Corporation is that officers, directors and employees, officers and directors should not participate in political activities in countries of which they are not nationals. However, such persons, of course, are free to participate in political activities in countries of which they are nationals in their own time and at their own expense. VII EQUAL OPPORTUNITY The Corporation supports the principle that every individual must be accorded an equal opportunity to participate in the free enterprise system and to develop their ability to achieve their full potential within that system.   • United States Government Obligations The Employee acknowledges that the Company from time to time may have agreements with the other persons or with the United States Government, or agencies thereof, which impose obligations or restrictions on the Company regarding inventions made during the course of work under such agreements or regarding the confidential nature of such work. The Employee agrees to be bound by all such obligations and restrictions which are made known to the Employee and to take all action necessary to discharge the obligations of the Company under such agreements.
