  • Consecutive Shifts (a) The Employer will endeavour, where possible, to provide that no Employee is scheduled to work more than seven (7) consecutive days in a two (2) week period. This does not preclude shift arrangements, acceptable to both the Employer and the Employee(s), in variance to the foregoing.

  • Consecutive Hours of Work The daily hours of work for each employee shall be consecutive.

  • Evening Shift The evening shift shall include all scheduled shifts where the majority of hours occur after 2:00 p.m.

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Rotating Shifts Nurses required to work rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) shall be scheduled in such a way as to equitably as possible assign the rotation.   • Hour Shift An eight (8) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour meal period, and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.
