Consecutive Hours of Work. With the exception of the meal period, an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work.

Consecutive Hours of Work. Non-consecutive hours may only be assigned in the Banquet Department and the Velvet Glove Restaurant. The Employer agrees to attempt to minimize split shifts in the Banquet Department and the Velvet Glove Restaurant, subject to the exigencies of the Employer's operations. The Employer also agrees that if split shifts are to be worked, it is to be done in reverse order of seniority. Notwithstanding the foregoing, non-consecutive hours may be assigned in other departments if there is mutual agreement between the employee concerned and the Employer, or if such assignment is required in order to maximize hours of work for any particular employee or group of employees. Furthermore it is agreed that, unless otherwise agreed to between the employee and his/her Department Head, the first part of a split shift shall not be for less than three (3) hours.
Consecutive Hours of Work. With the exception of the meal period, an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work unless mutually agreed to otherwise by the employee and the Employer. If a split shift is agreed to between the employee and the Employer, the first part of the split shift shall not be shorter than three (3) hours in duration.

Consecutive Hours of Work. Officers shall not be scheduled to work more than sixteen (16) hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period except under emergency circumstances. The Department retains the right to assign mandatory rest periods at any time to officers who, due to fatigue, demonstrate an inability to perform job tasks in a satisfactory manner.
Consecutive Hours of Work. The hours of work will be consecutive. Cooks working six and one-half consecutive hours shall be permitted one fifteen minute break.
Consecutive Hours of Work. The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except for:
1. Interruptions for lunch periods.
2. As otherwise provided for certain employees in this Agreement or as may be agreed to by the City and Union.
3. Employees who work under the incentive system whose work shift ends upon the completion of an assigned route.
