Overtime and Extra Work. Overtime shall be determined by the supervisor and shall be voluntary except in emergencies. "Emergencies" shall be defined to mean only those situations whereby the essential operation of the school District is in jeopardy of not being met. Notice of overtime or extra work shall be given to the affected employee(s) at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance whenever possible. Compensation for overtime shall be in accordance with Article XII.
