Overtime and Penal Time. 16 .1 All approved time worked in excess of eight hours in any day will be paid for at the rate of time and a half (T1.5). Shifts longer than ten hours will be paid at double time (T2.0) for those hours in excess of eight. Such overtime shall not be payable when an Employee agrees to work extended shifts on fewer days (e.g. 10 hour duty, 4 duty week) to achieve a shorter working week unless total hours worked in a week exceed forty hours.
