Overtime Compensation for Single Asterisk Code. ( a ) Subject to Article 9.02, employees with a single asterisk in the column headed Overtime Code in Schedule A-2, shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of time and one-half for all overtime hours worked except that compensation shall be at the rate of double time for that portion of overtime that exceeds seven and one-half (7½) or eight (8) hours of contiguous overtime, depending on the hours of work code.
