Overtime for Sworn Employees. The City shall pay an amount equal to one and one-half (1-1/2) times the prevailing hourly rate of pay for all sworn employees required to work in excess of a scheduled ten (10) or twelve and a-half (12 ½) hour work shift, or in excess of one hundred seventy one (171) hours in a 28-day work period. Additionally, for each consecutive four (4) hours of overtime an employee works (which is not scheduled at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance) consecutive with the employee’s regularly schedule work shift, the City shall pay seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) for one (1) meal, not subject to the approval of the Supervisor. For the purposes of computing time worked in this Section, all paid leave taken during a work week shall be computed as time worked. Overtime shall be earned in quarter hour increments rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee.

Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Compensatory Time for Overtime Eligible Employees A. Compensatory Time Eligibility Compensatory time off may be earned in lieu of cash only when an institution and the employee agree. Compensatory time must be granted at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2) hours of compensatory time for each hour of overtime worked.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Employees who are covered by the overtime provisions of state and federal law.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.
