Overtime Payments. It is the intent of the Employer to distribute overtime, wherever possible, in an equitable manner to employees available and able to perform the work. First consideration shall be given to employees within the job category. One and one-half (1 ½) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for hours worked in excess of seven and one-half (7 ½) hours in a work day except that two (2) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for: (a) All hours in excess of eight and one-half (8 ½) hours worked in a work day.
