Overtime EarnedThe term "overtime earned," as used in subsection 3 of this Article, shall mean the amount of overtime worked times the rate at which it is compensated; for example, one hour of overtime worked that is compensated at straight time rates (1X)*1 under this Article shall equal one hour of overtime earned and one hour of overtime worked that is compensated at a rate of time and one-half (1½X) under this Article shall equal 1½ hours of overtime earned.
Overtime Earned. When an overtime-eligible employee is on a 9/80 work schedule, overtime for hours exceeding 40 in a workweek, both under the FLSA and as provided under any applicable M.O.U., will be based on the FLSA workweek. In other words, employees who are eligible for overtime shall receive overtime pay or compensatory time off for hours worked in excess of 36 or 44 hours in their respective scheduled (e.g., Sunday- Friday) calendar workweek. Employees may also be eligible for overtime or compensatory time for other hours in excess of the regular 9/80 work schedule, as provided under the applicable M.O.U.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2. Funds provided under this Contract may be used to pay the premium portion of overtime only under the following conditions: i. With the prior written approval of System Agency; ii.   • Maternity Leave Allowance ‌ (a) An employee who qualifies for maternity leave pursuant to Clause 21.1, shall be paid a maternity leave allowance in accordance with the Supplemental Employment Benefit (SEB) Plan. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer, proof that she has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act. An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for maternity leave allowance. (b) Pursuant to the Supplemental Employment Benefit (SEB) Plan, the maternity leave allowance will consist of 15 weekly payments equivalent to the difference between the employment insurance gross benefits and any other earnings received by the employee and 85% of the employee's basic pay.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.
