COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT TRAINING. The Parties will schedule an in-person or virtual joint CBA Training, at each facility, within one hundred and twenty (120) days of this Agreement’s ratification date. The Parties will use best efforts to include representatives from the Employer, SEIU Local 503, and each facility-based union xxxxxxx. Also, the Parties will invite a Health Care Services Group representative to participate, when contracted by the Employer. The one-time training session will be completed in one (1) hour. The Employer will compensate up to four (4) union members for the scheduled training. The purpose of this training shall be to review language within this Agreement that reflects the following: • Changes to the former CBA’s language, policy, or procedure in this successor CBA. • New language, policies, or procedures in this successor CBA or the Alliance Agreement. • Review of the Parties’ plan to establish and operate FLMCs and SLMCs. Also, the Parties will discuss any shared goals and next steps to advocate jointly for additional Nursing Home Funding or promote the facility as the employer and provider of choice in the local market.
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT TRAINING. The Employer and the Union agree that training for managers, supervisors and Union stewards responsible for the day-to-day administration of this Agreement is important. The Union will provide training to Union stewards and the Employer will provide training to managers and supervisors on this Agreement. Stewards will be allowed work time to participate in four (4) hours of scheduled training once during the term of this Agreement. The Union will provide the Employer with fourteen (14) days advance notice of the date and time that the training is scheduled to occur.

The Employer and Union agree to facilitate a joint Collective Bargaining Agreement Training, at each facility, within one hundred, twenty (120) days of the ratification date of this Agreement. This training shall include participants from Avamere Health Services LLC, SEIU, HCSG and the Avamere bargaining team and elected stewards. This is a one-time training session to last no more than one (1) hours in duration. Bargaining Team and/or Elected Stewards will be paid their regular rate of pay for this training not to exceed four (4) bargaining unit employees in attendance. The four

The Employer and Union agree to facilitate a Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement Review at the facility, within sixty (60) days of the ratification date of this Agreement. Additionally, this review will be held within thirty (30) days of a new Executive Director being established at the Center. This review may include participants from the EmpRes Human Resources department., On-Site EmpRes Management (Executive Director, DNS and department managers), and SEIU 775 Representatives including the Center Advocate(s). This review shall last no more than one (1) hour in duration. Members of the Bargaining Team and/or Advocate(s) will be paid his/her regular rate of pay for this review. This review will not be scheduled to result in overtime or disrupt Center operations/coverage needs The purpose of this review shall be to review the Articles within this Collective Bargaining Agreement, relevant to wages, benefits, working conditions and policies.

Additionally, this training will be held within thirty (30) days of a new Administrator being established at the facility. This training may include participants from Avamere Corporate, On-Site Facility; Management (Administrator, DNS, and Department Managers), SEIU 775; Representatives, and up to 3 members of the Bargaining Team and/or Advocates. This training shall last no more than two (2) hours in duration. Members of the Bargaining Team and/or Advocates will be paid his/her regular rate of pay for this training. The training will not be schedule to result in overtime. The purpose of this training shall be to:
1. Review the Articles within this Collective Bargaining Agreement, relevant to wages, benefits, working conditions and policies.
2. Review shared goals and the next steps that both parties can participate in as it relates to quality care, census improvements, and Nursing Home funding.
