Paid Time to Working Time Full. Time and Part-Time) (a) Employees absent on approved leave paid by the employer or by The Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board shall for the purposes of computing overtime pay during the work schedule in which the absence occurred be considered as having worked their regularly scheduled hours during such leave of absence. No pyramiding shall result from the application of this provision. (b) The foregoing shall also apply in cases of short-term leaves of absence for union business approved by the employer under the applicable provisions of the collective agreement where payment is made to the employee by the Union.
