Parental-Education Leave. Regular Hire employees may take up to eight (8) hours per month (40 hours per school year) to participate in their school-age children’s activities. Part-time employees may use the leave on a pro- rata basis. The leave is unpaid, but employees may use accrued vacation, floating holiday, personal leave (if applicable) or comp time.
