Equitable Distribution of Overtime. All overtime shall be distributed as equitably as possible among employees in a work unit by considering such factors as availability, skills, training and experience.

Equitable Distribution of Overtime. Effective February 28, 2012 the company agrees to establish a list of employees who wish to be available for overtime shifts. The employee shall in writing advise the company as to their availability. Such written notice shall remain in effect until the employee advises the company in writing to rescind such notice. When overtime becomes available at the site the company shall schedule any such overtime starting with the senior most employee and proceeding to the least most senior employee recycling to the beginning when the list is exhausted. The next subsequent overtime shift that becomes available shall be offered to the next to last employee on the overtime availability list. The company shall continue to offer overtime in a cyclical fashion for the remainder of this agreement.
Equitable Distribution of Overtime. All overtime insofar as practicable shall be divided equitably among the personnel in a school building. The District will make every reasonable effort to offer overtime to local building custodian(s) before assigning warehouse or maintenance staff to such jobs in the schools. This would not apply to overtime requiring technical skills, etc.
Equitable Distribution of Overtime. CLCS shall attempt to distribute overtime equitably amongst unit members in each classification. Overtime opportunities shall be made available and scheduled at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance when practicable.

Equitable Distribution of Overtime. The Company shall distribute overtime as equitably as practicable among the employees within their respective Department. Overtime other than complete department overtime will be distributed as follows:
(a) Offered to the employee that normally does the job.
(b) Offered to other employees in the same department according to seniority providing they can do the job.
(c) Offered to employees in a different department according to seniority providing they can do the job. Overtime work in a department shall be offered by seniority to senior qualified employees. The Company will follow the policy of “senior employees may, junior employee must”. If no junior qualified employee(s) is available to perform the work, the senior qualified employee(s) will be required to perform the work.
Equitable Distribution of Overtime. Available overtime that immediately precedes or follows an employee’s scheduled shift will be offered to employees on that shift in order of seniority, provided the employee is able to perform the work. An employee will work such overtime unless one or more of the following conditions apply.
(i) there is another employee available who is willing and able to perform the work, or
(ii) the overtime requested would result in more than five (5) continuous overtime hours in the week being worked. An overtime sign up list for unscheduled overtime will be established for employees wanting to work their scheduled days off. These shifts will be offered to these employees on a rotational basis. If under this article the employee is unavailable to work such a shift it will be offered to the next employee on the sign up list.
Equitable Distribution of Overtime. A. Overtime shall be distributed as equitably as practical among the employees qualified by classification and/or otherwise capable of performing the work required, except that an employee shall not be removed from a job which the employee has been performing on that day, in order to provide such equitable distribution.
B. Overtime distribution shall be within Departmental lines only.
C. No employee working under the jurisdiction of this contract shall work more than sixteen (16) hours in any given work day that includes snow removal emergency work.
