PART-TIME EMPLOYEES (PERMANENT) Sample Clauses

PART-TIME EMPLOYEES (PERMANENT). For the purpose of this Agreement, an employee whose normal schedule is less than thirty-five (35) hours per week, but works twenty-five (25) or more hours per week and who is employed for at least ten (10) months per year is a part-time employee (permanent). Part-time employees (permanent) are eligible for the Retirement and Group Life Insurance Plan pursuant to the provisions of Section 5, Chapter 242, Public Laws of 1969. Part-time employees (permanent) are eligible for the Health Insurance Plan only when they are employed for thirty (30) hours per week or more. Part-time employees (permanent) are eligible to receive holiday, vacation and paid sick leave benefits on a modified basis as defined under the appropriate sections of the Agreement, but only when they work at least twenty-five (25) hours per week.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis. Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employee A permanent part-time employee is defined as an employee who is employed in a permanent position and who is normally scheduled to work a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours and less than thirty-two and one-half (32.5) hours per week on a regular basis.

  • Part-Time Employment (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than full-time hours of an average of 38 hours per week and has reasonably predictable hours of work.

  • Sick Leave Days Payable at 100% Wages Permanent Employees Subject to paragraphs d), e) and f) below, Employees will be allocated eleven (11) sick days payable at one hundred percent (100%) of wages on the first day of each fiscal year, or the first day of employment.

  • Disabled Employees If an employee becomes disabled with the result that he is unable to carry out the regular functions of his position, the Hospital may establish a special classification and salary with the hope of providing an opportunity of continued employment.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.
