Common use of Paternity or Co-Parental Leave Clause in Contracts

Paternity or Co-Parental Leave. An employee about to become a father or co-parent shall be entitled to an unpaid leave of absence of up to five (5) days at the time of the birth of their child or the adoption of a pre-school child or children. The employee may use A.T.O.'s or one (1) week's vacation at their option.
