Pay for Holidays Not Worked. A - An employee who is not required to work on a recognized holiday will be paid holiday pay for that holiday equivalent to 8 hours at his regular straight time hourly rate provided he meets all of the following requirements: 1. He has earned wages on at least 15 days during the 30 calendar days immediately preceding the recognized holiday. 2. Such employees who were unable to work 15 of the 30 days immediately preceding the holiday will receive 1/20 of the wages he has earned during the 30 days immediately preceding the holiday. B - If an employee is scheduled to work on a holiday and fails to work as scheduled without reasonable cause, he will not qualify for holiday pay as provided in paragraph A of this Section.
