An employee who is not required to work on a recognized holiday will be paid a holiday pay for that holiday equivalent to 8 allowance of eight (8) hours at his regular straight time hourly rate provided he meets all pay for each of the following requirementstwelve (12) recognized holidays on which the employee does not work, provided: A - (a) The employee has received wages from works the Company in at least one of four calendar weeks immediately preceding last scheduled day before the holiday and the first scheduled day after the holiday, and;or (b) The employee works either the last scheduled day before the holiday or the first scheduled day after the holiday and has an excused absence for the other day.

A - An employee who is not required to work on a recognized holiday will be paid holiday pay for that holiday equivalent to 8 or 12 hours at his regular straight time hourly rate rate, whichever is applicable, provided he meets all of the following requirements: A - The employee has received wages from worked both his last scheduled workday before the Company holiday and his first scheduled workday after the holiday unless the employee's absence is specifically excused by the Plant Manager. B - If an employee is scheduled to work on a holiday and fails to work as scheduled without reasonable cause, he will not qualify for holiday pay as provided in at least one paragraph A of four calendar weeks immediately preceding the holiday, and;this Section.
