Common use of Pay for Holidays Clause in Contracts

Pay for Holidays. Full-time bargaining unit employees shall receive eight (8) hours of holiday pay whether or not they work on a holiday.

Pay for Holidays. Full-time Full­time permanent bargaining unit employees shall receive eight (8) hours, or four (4) hours when applicable, of holiday pay whether or not they work on a holiday.

Pay for Holidays. Full-time bargaining unit employees shall receive eight (8) hours of straight time holiday pay whether or not they work on a holiday. An employee who works on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times his straight time hourly rate for all hours worked, in addition to the eight (8) hours of holiday pay.
