Pay for Union Negotiators. The University shall grant leave of absence with pay for hours regularly worked for four (4) Union members who are employees of the University and who are appointed by the Union for the purpose of negotiating the collective agreement between the University and the Union. The Union shall pay for in excess of four (4) negotiators at any one bargaining session.

Pay for Union Negotiators. The Union shall advise the City of the names of its negotiators. The names of the duly chosen representatives of the Union shall be submitted to the City Labor Negotiator sufficiently in advance of regularly scheduled meetings so as to permit notification of the appropriate City departments. One or more representatives from the Union shall be paid regular base salary up to a combined maximum of 150 work-hours for time spent in contract negotiations during regular working hours, except no payment will be made for negotiating time outside the representatives' normal workday and in no event will payment be made for time in excess of eight hours. Reasonable travel time from site of employment to site of meeting will be allowed.
