Negotiating Time a. The District agrees to pay at the straight time rate of pay for time spent at the bargaining table by three (3) Union members, not to exceed eight (8) hours per session.
b. This Section shall become operative when it is necessary to renegotiate this Collective Bargaining Agreement. The District shall pay directly all employees engaged in the negotiations of this Agreement, with the Local Union being billed directly for the wages and fringe benefit costs associated with the payment of employees involved in this Bargaining Agreement. Should, in the future, the Union’s committee exceed three (3) bargaining unit members, this provision shall be applied to those bargaining unit employees in excess of three (3), as set forth in 'a.' above.
Negotiating Time. Employees serving on the Union’s Negotiating Committee shall be paid for loss of any scheduled time at his or her normal straight time rate of pay, for scheduled negotiating meetings up to Conciliation.
Negotiating Time. Only those teachers required to be engaged, during the school day, in negotiating on behalf of the Exclusive Representative with a representative of the School Board or participating in any professional grievance negotiation, including arbitration, shall be released from regular duties without loss of salary.
Negotiating Time. (a) The University agrees to recognize two (2) employees amongst the employees in the Bargaining Unit as the Negotiating Committee and that the Negotiating Committee will be scheduled off shift for the purpose of negotiating a Collective Agreement without loss of remuneration for these days.
(b) Should a member of the Negotiating Committee be required to attend negotiations outside of their regular scheduled shift, the University shall provide the employee with pay at their regular hourly rate, to a maximum of eight (8) hours per session. No overtime, or premiums shall apply as a result of this arrangement.
Negotiating Time. The Employer agrees to recognize a Union Negotiating Committee consisting of three (3) employees plus the Union Representative. Employees serving on the Union's Negotiating Committee shall be paid for lost time at her normal straight time rate of pay for scheduled negotiating meetings up to but not including conciliation. The maximum payment under this clause is for hours that the employee would otherwise have been regularly scheduled to work.

Negotiating Time. The Employer shall grant up to five members of the Union negotiating committee unpaid release time, for the purpose of attending scheduled negotiation dates on a successor collective bargaining agreement. Such nurses shall accrue seniority, for all scheduled shifts for which they are released from work to attend negotiations.
Negotiating Time. The City agrees to allow up to but not more than four (4) employee Union representatives and not more than two (2) professional representatives affiliated with Local 1792 to serve on the Union Bargaining Committee for time spent in actual negotiations with the City to renegotiate this Agreement pursuant to Article 31; provided, however, that no more than five (5) persons shall serve on the Union Bargaining Committee during each meeting. Where such meetings occur during an employee Union representative’s regularly scheduled straight-time hours, the employee Union representative shall be considered on duty during such negotiations meetings, shall attend to emergency duties as required, and attendance at such negotiations meetings shall be without loss of pay or benefits. The City shall not incur overtime liability as the result of an employee Union representative’s attendance at any negotiations meeting(s). The Union will notify the City of the names and normal shift schedules of representatives selected for this purpose at least three (3) calendar weeks prior to the first scheduled negotiation date.
Negotiating Time. An employee serving on the Union’s Negotiating Committee shall be paid for all hours worked during scheduled negotiating meetings including conciliation and mediation as set out by the provisions of the Collective Agreement. The parties agree that negotiating meetings may not always occur during normal working hours and fifty percent (50%) will occur outside normal working hours.
Negotiating Time. The Classified Council shall be granted five (5) days, equal to forty (40) working hours, for negotiating purposes per year, averaged over the length of the contract.
